Aaron Johnson

Hey there! Thanks for taking time out of your day to come read about me and our wonderful team here at Tong Real Estate. I’m Aaron:) I’m excited to be joining such a great team alongside my brother-in-law (Nick Tong, Team Leader) and his colleagues, as well as my wife (Vanesa Johnson, Marketing Director). I grew up believing deeply that I was always meant to change the world through music somehow. Like most people who are born with the inclination toward creativity, I had no idea how that would look or what that meant, I just knew it. This desire led me to study music at Central Michigan University where I majored in percussion performance and minored in entrepreneurship. As a professional musician, you learn how to juggle multiple things at the same time while giving each item it's due attention, strategy and energy to deliver something of immeasurable worth to those who need it. As an entrepreneur, you learn how to be innovative, resourceful, relentless, humble and collaborative. I’m thankful to have cultivated all these attributes and more as I enter this incredible field. Since graduating from university, I’ve spent the last 8 years working in music ministry throughout the state of Michigan. A few years after marrying the woman of my dreams in 2021, we received the wonderful opportunity to open our own commercial recording studio in Farmington Hills, MI called ELEV8 SOUND STUDIOS – connecting my love of music and my passion for entrepreneurship. It was through the process of overseeing renovations, communicating with contractors, and navigating the transformation of our studio that I developed a curiosity for different aspects of property management. Being able to create a safe space for artists to call their “home-away-from-home” recording studio alongside my person has been an absolute dream come true. And now, to be able to participate in the process of providing a home to folks out there who need one, I couldn’t be more grateful to have been counted worthy of such an occupation. When I’m not working, you’ll find me enjoying yard work, playing with our puppy and spending quality time with my family! I look forward to getting to serve you on your journey home. Big love.
