An Unexpected Start To 2024...


January market update

Brr...it's cold out BUT the market is HOT!

We thought it would be fun to run the numbers from 2023 and share them with you...

Out of the 26 homes we listed and sold last year, 22 of them sold for OVER ASKING. That equates to an additional combined total of $196,400 going into our clients' bank accounts. We are SO passionate about not leaving money on the table for our clients. This passion has resulted in us being able to sell 85% of our listings over asking, and nearly each one was the highest in the neighborhood (even when not over asking!


Year In Review

What made 2023 special to us...

2023 was such a year of growth for us! Here are some of the highlights...

  • We hired a full-time Marketing Director (Vanessa)

  • We hired another Agent to join our team (Greg)

  • Our Team had a top performing year!

  • We launched a brand-new website with fun features like the "client family scrapbook" where you might just see yourself make a cameo!

  • We had 85% of our homes sell for OVER ASKING PRICE

  • We consistently out-performed the neighborhood with our listings selling for highest in the sub

  • We added not 1, but 2, new puppy mascots to the Tong Real Estate Family

  • Lastly, we had the privilege of serving YOU! Through all the ups and downs that come with the real estate process, we couldn't be more thankful for you and the time that we've had together.

A Letter From Nick

January was NOT what I expected.

Hey friends!

Thanks so much for checking in with us in this newsletter, it always means so much when you share how these have been helpful, informative and encouraging to you! As I reflect on this month, I have to be honest and say that January did not go at all as I expected.

Historically, January is often a time when things slow down with client meetings and we use the extra office time to update our systems, set goals for the year and get organized before spring comes. BUT this January has been SO full! I have been encouraged to see more and more people make the decision that their time is now, and choose to move. Already this year we've helped multiple seller clients receive multiple offers on their homes. This has been very intriguing because if you were to listen to the news, you'd think the sky was falling, and that higher interest rates are keeping people from buying homes. In our market, clearly- this is not the case. We are very thankful that even in a season with typically slower activity, people are entrusting us with implementing strategies that work to help get them the results they want. Just last week we helped one of our sellers receive 10 offers on their home! We can't share where it ended up quite yet, but needless to say it was WAY over the list price. What a way for our sellers to begin their year!
